WAITT Village - is a FREE, inclusive, online community for people living with disabilities or mental health challenges and their caregivers

What is WAITT and what it can do for you…

WAITT (We’re All IThis Together) Village is a community for people living with all types of disabilities and mental illness.  Feeling alone, unseen and misunderstood are common experiences that lead to depression and anxiety. It’s hard enough living with these conditions, then there is the mental and emotional impact of having these conditions. All of which can be a struggle to make sense of, to work through and ultimately find a degree of peace with.

I’m Brian R. King, MSW, founder of WAITT Village. I live with Asperger’s, ADHD, Dyslexia, Multiple Sclerosis and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (Hypermobility Type). I’m also the father of three sons with ADHD and Asperger’s.

After earning a Master’s degree in Social Work, writing 5 books and giving presentations around the country, the opportunity to create this community presented itself.

One in which I could use my popular and effective way of bringing people together to change the lives of the people I serve on a global scale.

At the moment the Village has my NeurodiverStrategies Group in it and will soon host my membership group as well.

It has space for groups focused on any type of disability or mental illness both paid and free.

On the platform I’m using (Convene Communities) there are no ads, data isn’t collected and you can post anonymously. This will allow you to be more vulnerable and get the support you need while maintaining your privacy.

The point is to create a space where everyone feels seen, connected, included, supported, empowered, informed and loved.

One community, many neighborhoods with individual voices.

I’d love to have you as a neighbor.
