Eligibility Criteria:
To pursue the ADHD-CCSP certification, candidates must:
Hold a valid professional license in fields such as psychology, counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, nursing, psychiatry, psychoanalysis, or behavior analysis.
- Complete a minimum of 30 hours of continuing education (CE) focused on ADHD, encompassing:
- 24 CE hours covering ADHD assessment and treatment, including neuroanatomy, diagnostic processes, differential diagnosis, and both medication and non-medication treatment approaches.
- 3 CE hours in introductory psychopharmacology.
- 3 CE hours addressing ADHD in community settings, such as classroom management or workplace strategies.
