I stopped doing this and it really cost me

Me meditation

I’ve been neglecting my mindfulness practice lately, at the expense of my inner peace.

My anxiety has only gotten worse.
The comparison has become all-consuming.
I’ve been second-guessing myself more often and swimming in thoughts of not good enough.

When I woke up this morning, having just finished a dream about feeling alone and helpless, I decided to spend the morning immersing myself in the meditation I’ve let go by the wayside.

It helped me rediscover the present moment I’ve become so distracted from. Reminding me my capacity for connecting to now is one of the best things I offer to the Autism/ADHD community.

Between regretting the past and fearing the future, we can tie ourselves up in knots of guilt, regret, perfection and procrastination. Those are a lot of knots.

I simply must make the meditation that grounds me in the present my foundational practice again. The price is too high when I don’t.
