Mindset ADHD/ASD Academy

Learn the "mindset before skillset" approach to unlocking your full potential as a parent or person living with ADHD or ASD

I have read and heard many experts on the subject of autism and adhd, none of them had the ability to get into the heart of a mother like Brian was able to do. The biggest lesson, one that has changed my life and my family was finally understanding that our son came into the world not to show others that his brain is different, or suffer for it, but to give the world his outstanding artistic skills, to feel loved, valued and respected not as a person with autism but as Juan Alejandro. Brian allowed us as a family to see beyond the diagnostic label and see wonderful human beings who deserve to be viewed as such, but not as different as other human beings valued and respected on their own terms.

This is what we're going to do together

Help you become less reactive and more responsive no matter how your child behaves.

Teach your child to behave responsibly and proactively.

Help your child believe in themselves, set goals and follow through with them.

Teach your child how to develop healthy give and take relationships.

We’re going to work on freeing you and your child from the negative thinking and self-sabotaging habits that prevent you from reaching your potential and living the full life you’re capable of living.

We’ll accomplish this following my 5R’s formula. . .

Here’s a list of some of the additional results you can expect through our work together:

Responsibility

  • You’ll feel more in control of your life
  • Create a vision for your life to keep you motivated and on task
  • Learn to create the results you want in school, work and relationships more consistently
Thank you for your words of wisdom and inspiration. You live out your teachings every day through your actions. You teach others that we can all take action in our own lives, we don't need to feel helpless.

I just had to let you know that you have changed our lives! I now understand my son who has ADHD and has Asperger's. My relationship with him has changed like night and day. Thank you so so much for giving me the understanding I needed to get him to move forward with his life. He has been so unhappy for so long and now he can see that I do understand and is coming out of his lock up tight world. I love my son and now he can see that.

I Love Brian's outside the box approach. I came to him hoping to find a path to forgiveness that would help deepen my relationships. What blows me away is that Brian makes himself accessible at any time one of us needs some on-the-spot coaching in a difficult situation....AWESOME! Brian's knowledge reaches a broad spectrum of humans with challenges because of his knowledge and talents. He is in his own. His purpose. He makes a difference on this earth. I would recommend him hands down to anyone looking to improve their relationships.

Contact me at brian@brianraymondking.com to let me know which option you prefer and I’ll explain the next steps. I’m looking forward to having you in our tribe.

Brian's simple strategies helped me become a better person and a better communicator. His coaching is powerful and he manages to share insights that can help anyone. He speaks to the core of what it is to be human. I cannot recommend him highly enough. I am grateful to have the opportunity to learn from him.

Yesterday was a big day for me as an advocate - yesterday was parent teacher day. My daughter last year suffered from horrible anxiety, it was a struggle from the get go with a teacher who didn't buy the diagnosis of ADD from the neuro psychologist and felt like I was causing her anxiety. Last year's parent teacher interview ended with me in tears and deciding that she & I would tackle this together in spite of him. I am not going to sugar coat it, it was a hard year, I spent a lot of time on the floor trying to find the strength to go on. I questioned everything I had done to that point but I built a village of specialists - including the fabulous Brian R. King and figured out what worked for her. In the end, I forced the peditrician to look for help and we were finally able to medicate for her anxiety. I made the choice to give her a fresh start, I sent her to private school, she has an IEP for the first time in her life and she is learning she does have wings. She is in the improv club, is bubbly and laughing and smiling again. Yesterday as I sat in parent teacher interviews and heard nothing but compliments of joyful, happy, polite, hard working, I wanted to cry happy tears but I didn`t. This is both of our fresh starts - a school that wants to help her succeed, instead of watching her suffer, a math teacher who is willing to help a different lunch hour than the planned lunch hour help so she can continue with her improv group, an english teacher who agreed to accept a late assignment that was lost last week in the lost binder incident and a science teacher who is allowing her to retake an exam because she knows she is capable of better. I fought like hell for this moment, I cut people out of my life for this moment, I reached out to people I didn't know, I opened my wallet, I joined groups on FB so I felt understood......we worked on it together, we can both live with our anxiety now and we are both better for having climbed this mountain but man the view from the top is magical.......🙂 Thank you Brian for your help in getting us there:)
